Core Analysis

Beta Diversity

Click to view an interactive 3D plot of Unweighted UniFrac Distances, Weighted UniFrac Distances, or Bray Curtis Distances. Click and drag to rotate the plot. Click the "Colors" tab to change the color scheme or experimental variable for coloring. Generated using QIIME 1.9.1.

ASV beta diversity (Unweighted UniFrac)

Unweighted UniFrac

Click to view an interactive 3D biplot of Unweighted Unifrac Distances, Weighted UniFrac Distances or Species Bray-Curtis Distances. Click and drag to rotate the plot. Click the "Labels" tab to turn on biplot labels. This will allow you to visualize the center of the distribution of the top 10 most abundant genera across all samples. For example, if a genus is mostly present in a subset of samples, then the biplot sphere for that genus will be located near those samples. Generated using QIIME 1.9.1.

Alpha Diversity

Click to view an interactive rarefaction plot. Select a diversity metric and an experimental variable to compare diversity across categories. Generated using QIIME 1.9.1.

Note: We are able to produce alpha diversity outputs with ASV data, but QIIME 1.9.1 is technically only intended to handle OTU data. Any references to OTUs in the alpha diversity files are actually referring to ASVs.

Taxonomic Summaries

Click the following links to view interactive bar charts. You can hover over bars to view the corresponding taxon or module name.

The "Species" bar charts show all taxonomic groups with each group labeled at the species level. Groups that could not be differentiated at the species level are collapsed into the 'Other' group. For example, this group could contain DNA that aligned uniquely to the genus Bacteroides, but not uniquely to any species with Bacteroides. The species shown here are the top 50 most abundant taxonomic groups overall plus the top 10 most abundant for each sample. Bar charts are available for Species, Genus, Family, Order, Class, and Phylum.
