The greatest infusion of corporate cash ever, over $600,000 in 2011 has gone to three school board candidates from so-called “reform interests” that have long sought to privatize and charterize traditional public education. The largest donors are corporate, including oil industry CEO Henry Gordon, healthcare industry CEO Kent Thiry, financial executive Scott Reiman, and former oilman and GOP fundraiser, current University of Colorado president Bruce Benson. Gordon and Reiman are board members of the Alliance for Choice in Education, a promoter of private school vouchers. Corporate money added to cash from outside groups like Stand for Children has accounted for tens of thousands of dollars to their three picks as school “reformers” — Happy Haynes for at-large, Anne Rowe in District 1 and Jennifer Draper Carson in District 5. The three candidates also garnered endorsements from the heavily hedge-fund-backed Democrats for Reform. I need to get back to the paintings" — is invaluable for what it shows about the often unseen support systems necessary for an individual artist to function. 2001 NHL All-Star Game Cherry Creek flooding likely as engineers flush sediment from behind dam October 18, 2005 20 Years of Living Healthy and Changing Lives - YouTube 15:00 – 15:30:  Coffee World War II Veterans Remember March 9, 2018Staff 2001 NHL All-Star Game Schools ►  February (24) Figures Neuronline 30 – G Martin Brodeur (New Jersey Devils) Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner email Aesop's Artifacts Activity for 970 Guerin Rd Full Forecast Age 50 Respond to this article Ductless Mini Split Phil Goodstein's Naysayer Energy Efficient HVAC Systems 33 – G Patrick Roy (Colorado Avalanche) Remove sold items https://coloradopeakpolitics.com/2016/04/26/friendly-reminder-bennet-is-in-rough-shape-regardless-of-who-the-gop-nominee-is/ Information on 18 million companies, 50 million contacts, 6 million buildings & 18,000 industries Possibly the worst Tonka toy websites ever, too. Future of Teaching James Marshall, Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield Create a book The Advocate An individual's behavior changes merely because an observer is hovering nearby. Since Allport's 1924 Social psychology (Allport, 1924), this phenomenon is referred to as “social facilitation,” a historical misnomer as others' mere presence facilitates the emission of well-learned responses but impairs the acquisition of new responses (Zajonc, 1965). Social facilitation affects all human behaviors, from food consumption (Herman, 2015) to cognition (Bond and Titus, 1983). It was initially described in presence of co-performers (coaction effect) but subsequent research demonstrated that the presence of passive spectators (audience effect) suffices to produce the same change (Stroebe, 2012). Social psychology proposed several theoretical models to explain social facilitation (Strauss, 2002) but behavior alone cannot tease them apart. Recently, we showed that cognitive neuroscience and its nonhuman primate animal model, the rhesus macaque, could help solve this long debated issue by revealing which brain functions are altered by social presence (Monfardini et al., 2015). This novel approach is currently handicapped, however, by the fact that we do not know to which extent social facilitation in rhesus macaques parallels what social psychology has taught us about human social facilitation. Until recently, the most popular pages on the North Denver News's website included a 2005 article on Sunflower Market's plan to open a store at the old Elitch Gardens site and information on how to submit your poodle for the paper's "pet of the month." That changed last week, when the monthly community publication published an online article describing how Bonnie Brae resident Thomas Martel had enlisted the help of surgeon Robert Fox Spars to surgically "whittle" his thumbs so that he could better use his iPhone.
