nbox dollars is a scam. They will pull you in by offering $5 to begin and another $7 for completing some other tasks. It all goes downhill from there. I quickly realized that filling out countless surveys. I really gave them a try, I tried and tried and tried. Finally I snapped and said “No More!” What happens is that once you start a survey and it could be 15-20 minutes of filling questions, they will reject you based on answering a question as “no”. So you could answer “yes, yes, yes” for multiple questions and after 20 minutes of tedious (and yes, boooring!) questioning you are rejected from survey by punching one lousy “No”. Then they offer “sweeps” which is a raffle ticket that will never win you anything, pathetic! So, after seeing what a sham I got myself into I just decided to get my $30 by strictly opening the “paid mail” and using “paid search”. I had opened the account with them 1.5 years ago and finally was able to collect my $30 (actually $27, they even take $3 for “processing fee” – a final slap in the face) after countless hours of filling surveys and opening stupid paid mail. They pay 2 cents per one paid e-mail so yes it will take a while. I will be closing my account with inbox dollars now that I recovered a small fraction of what my time is actually worth, and I recommend staying clear from them and finding another way of making $$$.

Above all, thanks for that great article. I really enjoyed reading it all for the last 5 minutes with a mug of coffee! Despite this article being next to perfect, if I can, I’d like to add one of the best survey sites, in my mind, to this list. It would be, “ClixSense”. They’re a really old, and huge, presence in the research industry and have partnered with many of those listed in this very post. So, signing up on ClixSense lets you take paid survey invitations from multiple survey sites and research firms, like Opinion Outpost, Nielson Media Research, YouGov, I-Poll, MySurvey, Toluna and more. Almost half of all of those survey sites are listed here.Inboxdollars Amazon
Did ok first two payouts, then on third payout, got an email saying account was terminated. This is after I cashed out. Had to request check before Sunday for them to cut check on Wed. I did this on Friday, two days early, on Monday I get email saying account terminated, Did NOT get paid, so they waited until I did three months worth of surveys, requested funds then terminated, so angry.
Yes, InboxDollars is legit. They’ve worked with Netflix, Target, Walmart, and other Fortune 500 brands, and have been accredited for 13 years by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating. They’ve been around since 2000, which makes them a rare bird in the internet space, with millions of users around the world. Plus, they have over 6,000 positive reviews on Trustpilot. So, is InboxDollars legit? Yes, without question. Don’t believe the “InboxDollars scam” rumors. It’s not a sweepstakes, and they never ask for your credit card. Any so-called “earning opportunities” that do are a scam.
Surveys can be on many different topics, like your TV-watching habits, your favorite places to eat, what material of sweater you prefer in the fall, etc. Many surveys can take less than 5 minutes to complete, although some take longer (and pay more money). Despite the wide array of topics, the end goal of paid online surveys is usually the same: to get a better idea of what consumers are thinking and how they make decisions.

This is a joke, it isn’t a scam but its not worth the trouble. It works don’t get me wrong but it takes FOREVER to make any actual money plus you have to hit a certain dollar amount before you can even cash out. Surveys said to be 4 minutes long pay out the same as survey that will take 50 minutes, and it only pays $0.25 for most surveys! $0.25 for an hour!? What! When you do find a higher paying one (meaning $0.50-$1.00), it’ll say its full or you don’t qualify EVERY time. The “Billy Spin Win” IS cool but also it is rigged. You NEVER land on money only “no win” or survey tokens. Out of 50 spins I landed on “cash” ($0.02 & $0.09!) twice. Like really? Complete waste of time honestly, SurveyJunkie pays better and you can cash out at $10 not $30! I’ve made $40 in about a month with SurveyJunkie rather $9 with Inbox DollarsInbox Dollars Paypal
I signed up for this site as recommended by a friend, and yes to be perfectly honest it’s a headache to gather the $30 earnings required to cash out but I have done so on several occasions over the past 10 years or so (I’m unsure just how long I have had my account.) My overall opinion of this site and it’s resources is very favorable. The emails pay me .02 for everyone I open, the surveys are indeed more effort than they are actually worth. However the fact that it is STILL FREE MONEY EARNED IN YOUR FREE TIME (No one in forcing you) makes it an overall worthy option. If you are seeking to earn more money become a professional and choose a career pertinent to intelligence and not free living.

I belong to almost all of the sites you listed and out of all the surveys I take I don’t qualify for 95% of them. I will spend 15 minutes with generic questions with them collecting information about me then when done they say I’m not eligible for the survey or they have reached the required amount of people for that research. I can understand the reaching the required amount of people but I would think I would qualify for at least 1 or 2. It’s really discouraging when you take all that time to do the survey and not even get any points for doing so!
Totally not legit company. Yes it is possible to get a check from them.. But you can also not get it cause they randomly close your account when you get close to cashing out. Save yourself a lot of time and heartache when they don’t pay you out and go with a company like Swagbucks or any of the other legit ones that reward more fairly. Long story short I know enough about these pricks to advise anyone to avoid using their services. I personally had amounted almost enough money to cash out, and attempted to sign up for one of their Lyft offers. Lyft says they got the promo code and inboxdollars closed my account (gave me some bullshit excuse when I followed up on the promo code) and screwed me on the 100$ sign up bonus as well. So in my opinion, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM INBOXDOLLARS!

I started work with InBoxDollars in December 2015. I have done as much work for them as I have Mindspay and InBoxPays ($473.00 +) but they show I have been credited only $23.59. I started keeping my own records and I know I have earned way more than that. None have been rejected but I have yet to get one nickel from them. What takes so long when they say you will be approved in 2 or 3 days. JPSnow
Inbox Dollars is a survey site that allows you to do all kinds of things (play games, watch movies, complete surveys or to just confirm emails). It may take a while to add up if you just do one or two of the activities, but if you are consistent (and spin the wheel occasionally), you never know how fast it may be. I have been a long time member and I'm very satisfied.
Gold members are given the option to either select the cards without creating an account or create an account for additional benefits. Account holders with a Tango card can cash out for significantly higher merchant amounts and they can also choose to send their earnings via email to family and friends as gifts/ donations. There is no additional fee for eCards. Prepaid Visa cash cards are processed by Swift.
the only thing I got was my account terminated during the “payment process” and while waiting for my money I was reading there terms of service and they clearly state they do not promise any payments, In fact they also claim to the advertisers that there members are true and honest while taking the surveys, This is in fact is most not likely true, I would like to see the supreme court subpoena there time recorded surveys

Inbox Dollars App Not Working

I have to agree with Rebecca. Took a couple months to get up to the $30 payment amount after being disqualified from multiple surveys. Some surveys said I were disqualified when I was 95% complete. The day before the payment is to be issued my account was cancelled. I tried speaking to their online support but all they tell you is that it was cancelled for bot like activity or for violating their terms of service. Funny how my activity wasn’t a problem until I requested a payment. Stay clear of them.

I like InBox Dollars! I have earned approximately $200 in 4 months! Once you understand the variety of ways to get $ – it usually takes about 2 weeks to get up to the $40 milestone and then you request payment and I get my paper checks in a couple of days…and if you get friends or family to sign up – you get $1 for each of them- up to 5… but if they start doing surveys and keep doing them – you get 30% of their earnings credited to you!!
They gave the better business bureau a new email that I was never given even though I was being asked to send in the original confirmation emails of the offers I completed and I also sent in screenshots but all they mentioned were the fact that they were not going to accept screenshots. they continue to not acknowledge the fact that I have indeed sent them all of the original emails they simply ignored them and it has been over for months. I’m not going to get paid because they are a joke.
To start taking surveys, you need to go to the ” Surveys” tab where you will find your notification dashboard with all the online surveys you qualify for, depending on the answers given when you signed up. Each of these surveys provides you beforehand with specific details such as completion time, topic and the amount of cash you can earn. The latter varies, depending on the survey you choose to complete, but generally you can earn anywhere from $0.25 for a 9-minute survey to $4.50 for more extensive surveys.
Inboxdollars is a scam!! All I have to say is you 1) better CAREFULLY read there lengthy terms and agreement before signing on the dotted line! My account got terminated because I unfortunately didn’t and didn’t realize my sister couldn’t have an account because we live together and have same address and used to use the same computer. We worked on surveys for hours and made $60 plus each and then got terminated and had to forfeit our money! Really sucked! 2) They will give out your information….phone number and email address. So if you don’t want tons of spam calls and spam emails….run away!! 3) They do not have a phone number to contact them. They have a support email and a live chat who doesn’t give you any useful information. Needless to say….Inbox Dollars is the worse survey site that I have ever encountered….you have been warned!! 🙂

You shouldn’t expect to make a killing by taking paid online surveys. Instead, you should view them as a way to make a little bit of extra money in your spare time — while you’re in line or when you’re stuck in a waiting room, for example. In cases like these, surveys can be a decent way to monetize your time. And while the payouts aren’t huge, even a few dollars per month can add up in a savings account and help you start to build a more solid financial foundation.
