When brands want to find out what consumers think about their product and services, they turn to market research companies. Market research companies are the ones actually administering the surveys on behalf of the corporations looking for data/feedback. Think of online surveys as a type of focus group, except in this case, everything is done online.
Not counting the profile survey, I attempted 38 surveys and qualified for seven of them. That’s an 18% success rate, which is on the low end among the 12 sites we tested. Most of the time, I’d immediately receive a disqualification notice with a link to a new survey opportunity. For a few surveys, I answered questions for a couple minutes before getting the boot.
You shouldn’t expect to make a killing by taking paid online surveys. Instead, you should view them as a way to make a little bit of extra money in your spare time — while you’re in line or when you’re stuck in a waiting room, for example. In cases like these, surveys can be a decent way to monetize your time. And while the payouts aren’t huge, even a few dollars per month can add up in a savings account and help you start to build a more solid financial foundation.

Why would you put InboxDollars on your list? They owe so many people money, including my $36.00. I will never get it, and I contacted them 3 different times. Each time I got the same answer, which did not work. Then, someone else from InboxDollars emailed me with the same information, that does not work, so I emailed back. Now they ignore me. I am on my 4th or 5th email with no answer. I think my next step is to report them.
Yes, you can. Unlike most traditional survey sites, InboxDollars offers several ways to make money. They offer cash back offers, a search engine, payment for referrals through social media, and even an option to get paid to watch videos or play games. You can even make extra cash by reading emails. Plus, if you sign up now, you can get a $5 sign-up bonus. You can also earn real money on the go using their mobile app. Let’s look at each.
It’s a scam.I’ve been making surveys and other stuf for 2-3 months and i was close to my first payment and they decided to ban me for botlike activity.I’ve emailed them to see what’s the deal cause I wasted so much time in it and at the end I was left with nothign and they got all my money I don’t reccomend these thieves to anyone they will waste your time and nerves jsut for their good and will take your money just before you get to 30 dollars (which is the needed amount to cash out).I hope there are not many people screwed as me.Btw they anwsered me email with other stuf telling me that I’m not from U.S. and that’s why they won’t pay me or unban me……..
InboxDollars is one of the worst programs. Unlike others, they have a very short “6-months of inactivity and we’ll close your account and keep your money” term. Plus, you earn next to nothing. I too stopped getting paid emails and tried to unsuccessfully qualify for surveys. As such, I mostly did the big-ticket things, like signing up for money back on donations to charities. I accrued $98 and log in monthly to avoid the “inactivity” thing. But, guess what? They just closed my account for not completing anything in six months. They don’t even hold up their own definition of “activity”. So, user beware–withdraw when you can, even though UNLIKE the other programs, they charge a 3% fee on what you’ve earned. Sketchy, sketchy, sketchy.
These methods are certainly less tiresome, monotonous and refreshing compared to just filling up random surveys all day. Some users (chiefly “premium” members) have mentioned how they received money from InboxDollars on referrals from offers. Additionally, some members have also stated how they earned a proportion of money from InboxDollars’s “qualified surveys” and other features.
Honestly I’ve been using this app for a less than 1 year and have thus far made more than $150. Don’t do the surveys unless the title is specific and you know the market they are searching for. But they are a waste of time!!!I just use the TV part of the app. I use to be able to make $2 a day just with that, but they lowered it to 50 cents. I use this app while I’m at the office or in school. Just leave it playing and have your phone make money while you’re not using it. You don’t have to actually watch it. That’s where everyone is getting this app mixed up. It’s not a waste of time if you’re not actually paying attention and doing something else productive. I don’t think about $.50-$1 a day but making $30 a month and $360 a year for doing nothing.
Signing up was a breeze. I simply went to the page that said I would get a free $5 signup bonus and entered my email to get going. I had to answer a few basic questions — things like income level, race, education, and health questions. After a few minutes of answering questions and watching a couple tutorial videos on how the site works, I had $5 added to my account.
I signed up for this site as recommended by a friend, and yes to be perfectly honest it’s a headache to gather the $30 earnings required to cash out but I have done so on several occasions over the past 10 years or so (I’m unsure just how long I have had my account.) My overall opinion of this site and it’s resources is very favorable. The emails pay me .02 for everyone I open, the surveys are indeed more effort than they are actually worth. However the fact that it is STILL FREE MONEY EARNED IN YOUR FREE TIME (No one in forcing you) makes it an overall worthy option. If you are seeking to earn more money become a professional and choose a career pertinent to intelligence and not free living.
I have been using Inbox Dollars for months now. I am at $32.60 as of right now. My amount has been the same for weeks. I click on the paid emails, and I am not being credited. I wrote to them and all I got back was that I did not have enough funds to cash out. I very clearly told them that my amount is frozen and that I am not being credited for the paid emails I click on. So I try to contact them once more to explain my problem again, I got no response. So I wasted months of my time for absolutely nothing. This site stinks! It is very time consuming. Alot of the surveys you do not qualify for. You sometimes are filling out surveys for several minutes until they decide to tell you that you do not qualify for the survey. I am upset that I wasted so much time for absolutely nothing in return. This site is a complete waste!
They claim to also offer paid product testing opportunities. But it’s not really paid product testing, but more of getting cash back. Basically, besides surveys, you can purchase products and services through their portal and earn a certain amount of cash back for every dollar you spend. If you were going to buy something already, it’s a great way to get some of the cash back. But don’t just buy something because of the cashback.

I’ve been a member for 6 months.. Read emails , did the cash offers for places like sophora and the body shop, videos the radio thing just be told because my account only makes money off the emails I am no longer allowed to receive paid emails. Neither am I allowed to watch the videos and the radio app doesn’t work anymore.. And the offers I do make money on they have removed.

Horrible. It takes many hours to make 1 dollar, let alone 30 dollars, which is what you need to cash out. It takes about a year to make 30 dollars unless you’re at it every day, then it should take you only10 months. Don’t waste your time. There are too many survey sites that are much better. Inbox lets you answer a whole lot of questions which they keep, before they decide you are not the perfect fit. Makes me think they have the answers they really needed from you. They should investigated and shut down.

With over six million surveys in more than 100 countries, Ipsos i-Say has taken the online survey to another level. A range of topics are covered, and the reward options include PayPal payments. Moreover, they also have a loyalty program that allows subscribers to earn more additional bonus points. If you complete more surveys, you will earn more points.
How it works: YouGov is one of the world’s largest research companies, with over 5 million members worldwide. The company provides market research and polling for major corporations, as well as political campaigns — particularly in the United Kingdom, where their polls are frequently cited in the media. Most surveys take between 5 to 10 minutes, and earn you 1,000 points. For reference, 1,400 points is worth about $1.
Like many other reviews, I used the site properly but as I reached the minimum $30 payout threshold, they terminated my account with generic multiple choice possible reasons of using VPN / acting like a automated BOT / having multiple accounts - none of which was true, perhaps I accessed the account once or twice with VPN still enabled, but that didn't prevent them from earning their partner referral fees they partially share with me while I wasn't using VPN. They can block access to site while using VPN so they ensure proper tracking as you complete each offer. I earned offers while not on VPN, so accidental VPN access that doesn't impact any specific offer they earned through me becomes their dishonest way of stealing the bonus money from you. Support says they escalated to 2nd level support that will respond with an email in a few days, of course they don't.

Inboxdollars does not tell you this – you have to find it on your own. After uninstalling Firefox 54, and installing this version required, the issue with those partner ads still persist. I am still seeing the majority of ads as inboxdollars offers.. So I guess this means I will have the “feature” disabled again. Despite screenshots of the ads, showing them what I am seeing it is being blamed on some security setting, adblocker, or those plugins not being enabled. Rather than checking with their site, or the partner and checking their own ad rotations. When an ad starts to play sometimes it just vanishes and an inboxdolls offer pops up.
They don’t give a reason for this, but I assume it has to do with taxes. You see, if you pay someone $600 in any given year, you are required by law to report that earning and send them a tax form at the end of the year. And since 60,000 equals to $600, I assume they have that rule in place so they don’t have to deal with all that paperwork come tax time.
In addition to earning real cash and helping brands with critical marketing information such as consumers’ preferences, you can also earn so-called “spins”. You can use these to play the Billy the mascot’s Spin and Win game which will earn you additional money, survey tokens and sweepstakes. Consequently, you will bank even more cash after completing a survey.
Yes, InboxDollars is legit. They’ve worked with Netflix, Target, Walmart, and other Fortune 500 brands, and have been accredited for 13 years by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating. They’ve been around since 2000, which makes them a rare bird in the internet space, with millions of users around the world. Plus, they have over 6,000 positive reviews on Trustpilot. So, is InboxDollars legit? Yes, without question. Don’t believe the “InboxDollars scam” rumors. It’s not a sweepstakes, and they never ask for your credit card. Any so-called “earning opportunities” that do are a scam.
