After my initial $5 bonus, I found that many of the surveys did not pay out a ton of money, which was a bit of a bummer. Nonetheless, clicking around and answering questions can still net you a couple of bucks an hour, which is better than nothing. You’re going to be on the internet anyway, so you may as well get paid for it. Learn more in our InboxDollars Review.

Most of the surveys on Inboxdollars actually range up to $5.00 on surveys depending on the survey provider. Please note that InboxDollars works with Market Research companies (survey providers) who create, provide, manage and credit the surveys. InboxDollars does not make any requirements or qualifications for a survey. Each advertiser may be looking for a particular demographic to get the information they need for their services/products/etc so they will have qualification questions when this occurs. Our minimum requirement is $30.00 as a minimum and members can get there pretty quickly if they do a variety of activities on the site. We have some members who cash out once a month but again this is due to how often they are on and how much they do.

Yes, you can. Unlike most traditional survey sites, InboxDollars offers several ways to make money. They offer cash back offers, a search engine, payment for referrals through social media, and even an option to get paid to watch videos or play games. You can even make extra cash by reading emails. Plus, if you sign up now, you can get a $5 sign-up bonus. You can also earn real money on the go using their mobile app. Let’s look at each.
InboxDollars is a trademark of CotterWeb Enterprises, along with InboxPounds.co.uk (UK) SendEarnings.com, DailyRewards.com (Canada) and PaidEmail. The 6-time Inc. 5000 honoree is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited business with an A+ rating as of this review. The corporation is headquartered in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Daren Cotter, founder and CEO is a well-respected investor, adviser and mentor and was recently honored as Technology CEO at the 2017 Titans of Technology awards.
Inboxdollars is a scam!! All I have to say is you 1) better CAREFULLY read there lengthy terms and agreement before signing on the dotted line! My account got terminated because I unfortunately didn’t and didn’t realize my sister couldn’t have an account because we live together and have same address and used to use the same computer. We worked on surveys for hours and made $60 plus each and then got terminated and had to forfeit our money! Really sucked! 2) They will give out your information….phone number and email address. So if you don’t want tons of spam calls and spam emails….run away!! 3) They do not have a phone number to contact them. They have a support email and a live chat who doesn’t give you any useful information. Needless to say….Inbox Dollars is the worse survey site that I have ever encountered….you have been warned!! 🙂
Signing up was a breeze. I simply went to the page that said I would get a free $5 signup bonus and entered my email to get going. I had to answer a few basic questions — things like income level, race, education, and health questions. After a few minutes of answering questions and watching a couple tutorial videos on how the site works, I had $5 added to my account.
It seems like IBD has made several changes that benefit them financially and ends up taking away more of the minimal amount of money you earn to begin with. I have always wondered why they only allow a person 20 spins over a 24 hour period. Especially and in light of the fact you are lucky if 20 spins net you .5-.25 cents. I have been trying Cash Crate. And so far, no complaints.
I agree. It does take awhile to build up money, especially when doing surveys and paid emails. I shop a lot online and it adds up much quicker when you link it through inboxdollars. Also, I do print up the coupons and receive (it does take awhile to process) .10 per coupon. It has taken me 2 years but I have over $206.00 to claim. I, previously, have claimed and received $53.00.
Interesting read, thanks for sharing. I suppose that online surveys may generate a few extra dollars on the side for some people, but it does require you to qualify for certain surveys online. In many cases you may not qualify, and will result in having to search for more surveys. This can be time consuming and in most cases not as profitable as may be expected.
Me and my roommate had both accounts and used the same PC. they told us we can only use one account. it doesn’t make any sense because it’s not like we are using each other bank accounts, etc. inbox dollars also manipulates with how much money you can earn per surveys. if you make a couple of bucks one day, i guarantee you, you will not qualify for any surveys the next day! it’s all bogus. SCAM!
Rip off. I referred a couple people to Inbox Dollars that lived close to me and they closed out all of our accounts saying we were all in the same location and the same person. We provided IP addresses and even went to as far as asking if we could provide identification to show proof and of course it was negative. Lost a total of about $31. As for my neighbors probably the same or close to the same..
They claim to also offer paid product testing opportunities. But it’s not really paid product testing, but more of getting cash back. Basically, besides surveys, you can purchase products and services through their portal and earn a certain amount of cash back for every dollar you spend. If you were going to buy something already, it’s a great way to get some of the cash back. But don’t just buy something because of the cashback.
Lately they keep disabling this service claiming I have an adblocker BUT I DO NOT! They advise me to make sure java, and flash player plugins are enabled. Which they are, the reenable this service just to disable it again. There’s a few problems with their scenarios a: enable java plugin – Mozilla no longer supports java. You have to download an older version to use java now. This version will support java until March 2018.
According to the company’s own website, it has millions of active members using the website. Since 2006, it has paid over $25 million to members and counting through its subsidiary SendEarnings (launched in 2005). Profits and expansion have occurred in every year since inception with the company branching out to the UK with its InboxPounds service in 2012. Today it has over 30 employees.
With over six million surveys in more than 100 countries, Ipsos i-Say has taken the online survey to another level. A range of topics are covered, and the reward options include PayPal payments. Moreover, they also have a loyalty program that allows subscribers to earn more additional bonus points. If you complete more surveys, you will earn more points.
Totally not legit company. Yes it is possible to get a check from them.. But you can also not get it cause they randomly close your account when you get close to cashing out. Save yourself a lot of time and heartache when they don’t pay you out and go with a company like Swagbucks or any of the other legit ones that reward more fairly. Long story short I know enough about these pricks to advise anyone to avoid using their services. I personally had amounted almost enough money to cash out, and attempted to sign up for one of their Lyft offers. Lyft says they got the promo code and inboxdollars closed my account (gave me some bullshit excuse when I followed up on the promo code) and screwed me on the 100$ sign up bonus as well. So in my opinion, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM INBOXDOLLARS!
On many forums and review websites, the typical rating awarded to InboxDollars is a meager 2 out of 5 stars. The single biggest problem relating to the website is the incredibly long time taken before the first $30 payment can be attained. Though it is in fact legitimate, the website has been labeled by quite a number of former members as a “scam,” or “spamming” website. We disagree…
I have to respectfully disagree. InboxDollars won’t make you rich, but there are a handful of great cash offer sign-ups on the site. I made $40 over the course of an hour right after I signed up. I will say that I’m now to the point where my options are mostly to make pennies, but hey that $40 covered my internet bill for the month. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading your review and I definitely do agree that there are better ways to make money online. Thanks for the post!

I had to submit the tax info as well, but this is true for any legitimate business. They sent me a 1099 at the end of the year and I gave it to my accountant along with my other tax documents. The fact they pay on the books is good, it shows that they obey tax regulations. If you make money you need to be prepared to pay the taxes, of course expenses towards making that money are deductible. I am disqualified a lot, often for days, thus I mainly do surveys while watching TV etc…They should pay more and let u know sooner if u do not qualify, I wholeheartedly agree. In 3 years one a $25 sweepstakes once (Target Card) and am aware that their wheel is a virtual wheel which means some combinations much more likely than others)Have hit the $5 twice and the $1 about 4-5 times. There help desk has some good people and some who do not care. The only reason I stay with it is that little money is better than no money..
Why do you earn just $0.25 to $0.75 for completing a survey rather than $5.00 or more? And why does Inbox Dollars require certain people, based on their lifestyle and certain answers to questions to qualify for surveys? Also why are Inbox Dollars members required to earn $30.00 before they can make a payment, rather than make a payment after first opening an account?
I have had IB for months and it was very difficult to earn anything except pennies on scratch offs.. strike 1....hardly qualified for surveys and when I did they were long and a waste of time for 25 cents....strike2...finally got to the $30 mark to cash out, which is exactly what I did however I had no idea that they would charge you a process fee of $3 and you have to wait 3 weeks to get your money.... strike 3 for me. Now I have to wait and see if I get it.Total waste of time people. I use Swagbucks which is pretty good and Ibotta which I love and recommend, I literally have made $30 in a day with Ibotta depending on my shopping needs. IB is not good period
The platform also provides trait surveys which allow you to earn $0-03-$0-10. These trait surveys can increase your earnings slowly including your trait score. When you have a trait score, you will be able to get a maximum number of surveys in a month. So, strive to achieve a 9000 trait score and you will become one of the top 10 percent members who earn more per answer. What’s more, you can refer your friends and relatives and still get generous rewards to boost your income. All cash-out payments made by the company are made through Paypal or their partner virtual incentives, without any exceptions.
My InboxDollars experience started on a high note. After receiving the signup bonus, I earned another 50 cents for completing a short profile survey. I also appreciated that I could see a list of surveys available to me, along with the exact dollar (or cent) amount they’re worth. Most sites we tested use points, and determining a survey’s monetary value can be a hassle. This list also included the estimated time required for each of the surveys and, for some, the topic.

I wanted to write a review for Inbox Dollars because at first it may seem like it's hard to ever make it to the 30 threshold but eventually you do; granted they don't offer a lot of high paying surveys but here's what I do like about them: so far every time I have an issue with a survey they always credit me, their customer service always answers without sending several emails that say the same thing over and over, they have other ways to make extra cash that are fun, innovative, and informative this is the site I seem to fall back on when I want to relax, take some surveys, play games, answer trivia, and search the web. What I'm saying is there isn't very many GPT sites that have Inbox Dollars dynamic.

It’s a very well-known scam. You cash the check, then they ask you to either wire some of that money back to them as some sort of fee or buy something for them and send the item to them. So, you deposit the check, then wire some cash to them thinking that the check you just deposited will cover that. A few days later, after you already send them the money, the check will bounce and the money you send to them will come out of your own account.
IPoll provides surveys via their site and mobile applications, and this has made it easy for most iPoll members. I don’t see PaidViewpoint on your list. I like using that site. I signed up for it on June 28, 2016, but I guess I forgot about the site and stopped using it on July 24, 2016 but had a total of $1.91. I started using it again on May 5, 2018, and I’m now up to $27.05 and have a trait score of 10, which is the highest. The surveys are easy and you don’t get disqualified. I mostly earn 10 cents, but once in awhile I earn some good money like 62 cents. It does take awhile to add up, but it’s free money.
In addition to earning real cash and helping brands with critical marketing information such as consumers’ preferences, you can also earn so-called “spins”. You can use these to play the Billy the mascot’s Spin and Win game which will earn you additional money, survey tokens and sweepstakes. Consequently, you will bank even more cash after completing a survey.

Did ok first two payouts, then on third payout, got an email saying account was terminated. This is after I cashed out. Had to request check before Sunday for them to cut check on Wed. I did this on Friday, two days early, on Monday I get email saying account terminated, Did NOT get paid, so they waited until I did three months worth of surveys, requested funds then terminated, so angry.
