DENVER, Colo. - Job cuts have become a growing trend in the journalism industry, but one newspaper is now taking a stand against its owners after another round of layoffs.
Cherry Creek North E-Edition Online Billpay EXPLORE Home Instead World Wide: Keywords North Stapleton Business As we go about our daily routine, many of us have seen or have had contact with homeless people standing on the corner at an intersection, waving a sign saying “anything helps.” Most of the people in our society believe all homeless people are shiftless, lazy, and no-good alcoholics and drug addicts. They think people who are homeless will never amount to anything.
Sally Yates cautions against firing Rod Rosenstein My husband selected the Shepherd’s Pie, $6.95. This came out in an oval tureen with a thin layer of ground beef with peas and onions covered with a thick layer of mashed potatoes. This tasted like comfort food. Not too spicy, but rich in the flavors of beef and the stewed veggies. This did not seem as fatty as the fish and chips.

Bill Marriott’s Blog Awards & Associations Tree Shrub & Fertilization Typical work day is cold calling for new business, and upselling customers. I learned to set up power point presentations. Management when it was The Denver Newspaper Agency and prior Rocky Mountain News was great. Co-workers were wonderful to work with, like family. Hardest part of the job is the competitive media like competing with Craigslist that is free to advertise with. My customers and co-workers were the most enjoyable part of my job.
Visit The North Denver Tribune → North is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Denver—it does not get the attention it deserves. Their pesto chicken dish with capers is to die for. As is their filet and chicken farm main dishes. I highly suggest either the calamari or burrata to start. For something lighter, they have a great simple salad that can be dressed up with salmon. The atmosphere is great with ambient lighting and—depending on where you sit—a great view of the kitchen or the passersby out in Cherry Creek North. I have always had exceptional service. For our anniversary last year, they treated us to some bubbles and a custom dessert on the house. Can't say enough nice things.

We ordered a few different apps to share and then a meal each. All of the apps were pretty good, everyone fairly happy with them. Entrees on the other hand was not so well received. My scallops were incredibly salty, another girl would have loved more salt on her pasta, my friend next to me had a pizza that was extremely crunchy, my hubby had the chicken parmy which was so-so....I didn't go round and poll the whole table but for 4/11 to be unsatisfied is a little sad.

Publishers of newspapers Ought to be called the Elisa Cohen Tribune. Here's where (managing editor) Elisa Cohen ate dinner last week (even if it's 10 miles outside the neighborhood), here's what she thinks about zoning, development, whatever. Makes no pretense at objectivity, and doesn't do much to cover actual news. It's a bit like a mediocre blog, only in printed form.
