Systemic VS Contact
This is a pesticide that is absorbed and moves throughout the plant.

It is most commonly used in reference to herbicides that absorb into the weed and moves through the weed, but it can also be used for fungicides that do the same in the desired plant.
  A pesticide that kills only at the point of contact of the treated plant.
