Environmental Precautions > Nontarget Plants and Animals
Pesticides may be toxic to fish and other animals that live in water. This image shows two direct routes to surface water. Can you identify them?

1. | The most obvious rout is the steam beside the house. Pesticides can run-off in heavy rains or drift from the target into the stream. |
2. | The storm drain in the street. Again run-off during heavy rains will go right down the drain and into surface water. |
