Deciding What to Do > Selecting a Pesticide
Before you use a pesticide on the garden, check the label out to see if there is a preharvest interval

The preharvest interval is the amount of time that you have to wait after applying a pesticide and eating the vegetables. This provides time for the pesticide residues to degrade. It can be very different from one pesticide to another.
