FAQs

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about the Delaware Lottery Collect N Win Second Chance Promotion

A. Play your favorite Lottery games, register your contact information at delottery.com*, and your play cards will appear. Once registered you can collect symbols using your smartphone, tablet or computer. You can visit delottery.com to download the app or download the iOS app in the Apple App Store and then you can scan the 2D barcode on your eligible Draw Game ticket(s) and on your eligible Instant ticket(s). Or, you can manually enter your Draw Game ticket number or Instant Game entry code by visiting delottery.com or the App. Symbols will be awarded for each eligible ticket number/entry code.** When you collect all six symbols on any of the play cards, you will earn one entry into the next eligible drawing. Non-winning entries will not carry over from drawing to drawing. See full rules of play at link.

*You will be redirected to the Collect 'N Win website.
**Eligible game tickets will be determined by promotional period.

A. An eligible ticket is any valid, non-winning, non-canceled Delaware Lottery Draw Game or Instant Game ticket (i.e. Play 3, Play 4, Multi-Win Lotto, Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Lucky For Life, Keno, or eligible non-winning Instant Game; any such Draw or Instant Game which becomes active during the promotional period). Designated Instant Games will be added to the list of eligible games at the direction of the Delaware Lottery. Draw Game tickets are valid forty-five (45) days from the date of purchase. There is a 50-ticket limit per day maximum. Eligible non-winning tickets may only be entered once.

A. Yes, one multiple draw ticket will count as one entry. However, if you win on a multiple draw ticket, the entire ticket counts as a “winning ticket” and does not qualify if drawn as a winner.
A. Single tickets do not constitute a drawing 'entry' -- entries are generated after a six symbol card is completed. Each ticket entered or scanned will randomly generate symbols that will be placed on the next available space in any of your play cards.
A. Please check your spam and junk folders in your email. If you do not see the email in those folders, please visit the Contact page of this site and we will activate your account for you.
A. The scanner is sensitive to light. Try to move the ticket into a lighter room. Also place the ticket on a flat surface, rather than holding it in your hand, to avoid movement or shaking of the image. If the barcode is smudged, damaged or otherwise illegible, it could affect the registration of the scan. If that is the case, enter the ticket number manually.
A. Symbols are awarded randomly. You will randomly receive 2,4,6,8 or 10 symbols. The symbols will be randomly selected from the 6 available and placed randomly on any of the 4 open play cards. Duplicate symbols are added to the next available card until all 4 cards are covered by that symbol. If any symbol is occupying a space on all four cards, it will not be generated again until one of those spaces opens up again. Spaces are opened after a card has been filled with all 6 symbols and converted into an entry.
A. If you don't have a smartphone or tablet you can manually enter your ticket numbers/entry codes by visiting delottery.com from any computer.*

*Instant Game tickets must be entered manually.

A. No. You are not required to retain your tickets. However, all entries are subject to validation and may be disqualified if eligibility requirements are not met.
A. You can log into your registered account from a public computer at your local library. Just remember to log out after you are finished using a public computer. If you have a smartphone, you can enter via the browser on the phone or download the App.
A. While the lottery does offer promotions from time to time that do not require a computer, the Collect 'N Win Promotion requires players to enter their ticket numbers/entry codes using a smartphone, tablet or a computer.
A. Use the 21 digit ticket number found at the top and bottom of the Draw ticket (see example below for ticket number location). You can manually enter that 21 digit number (without dashes) on the website or you can scan the barcode with the mobile app. For Instant Tickets, the entry code is the 12 digit number (no dashes) located under the scratch-off play area on non-winning Instant Tickets (see example below of 12 digit number). You must manually enter that 12 digit number on the website.
