Setapp 3.25.0
New
- Setapp extends its search results: we’ll show you relevant articles from Hot-tos and Tutorials in addition to the apps. The idea is to provide you with the full functionality of Setapp. It’s nice to find the relevant app, but it’s even nicer if you can read about best practices on its usage or how to combine it with other apps for maximum productivity.
- We continuously improve the technical part of Setapp and apply new technologies for the best user experience. Some of the latest technologies can’t befriend the old macOS. So, starting with this release, you can install Setapp on macOS 11.0 and newer versions. Setapp will continue working on the older macOS versions if already installed, but new features of Setapp will not be available. Please note that each Setapp app has its own development flow and might update its functionality for older macOS versions.
- When russia attacked Ukraine in February 2022, obviously, we discontinued our services for russian and Belarusian users. In this release, we stop supporting russian localization as redundant. Setapp subscribers can always choose one of these languages: English, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese. We also plan to add a new language to Setapp soon.

In case you worry that each category might include too many apps for your goal, we have another genuinely new feature — subcategories. The subcategories cover a particular task, so you can quickly jump to the needed app set. Moreover, you can filter the apps by macOS, iOS, or web platform in addition to the subcategory choice.

Thanks a lot for the great suggestions
