Candidate as Ordinary Board Member
I believe MCAA is a very interesting and strategic association and that being more actively involved would give me the opportunity to better contribute to its role, bringing my enthusiasm and ability to network and liaise.
I have been actively involved in the activities of the UK Chapter, having organized the event on mental health run in Cambridge in 2019. Together with two other MCAA members, we are now organizing a second edition of the workshop on mental health to be held in Egham (UK) in March 2020.
Between 2016-2018 I was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow and I have been actively involved in outreach activities both in France and the UK, countries where I run my research activities in the past years.
Moreover, during my work experience in Sweden, I actively contributed to the activities organized by the Junior Faculty at Linköping University (Sweden).
I believe MCAA is a very interesting and strategic association and that being more actively involved would give me the opportunity to better contribute to its role. My major interests are in researchers' wellbeing and research culture.
I will, therefore, bring my contribution to the table by joining the board and to promote initiatives like the Referent one aiming at improving the current status quo.
I also bring my enthusiasm and ability to network and liaise that has been strategic in the organization of several events such as the two workshops on mental health I have actively organized.
