Key Bug Fixes

Various bug fixes are included in this release.  The following is a list of key fixes by application area.

Please contact customer support for the status of any specific Astra Schedule case number.

Calendars

Calendar Filter:  Able to delete filters associated with saved calendars, causing errors when calendars were used.  (Case #'s 00029244, 00029209, 00030255, 00030470, 00030558, 00030982, 00031157, 00031923, 00032131, 00032339, 00032719)

Calendar:  Partitioned rooms blocked by activities scheduled into other partitions showing as available on the Daily

Room Grid.  Rooms will now display "Blocked by: <Parent Activity>"  (Case #'s 00030572, 00031669, 00031978, 00030563)

Calendar:  Changing default filter on assigned calendar deletes filter from list.  (Case #'s 00033082, 00033038)

Event Create / Edit / Schedule

Partitioned Room Conflicts:  Adding event meetings to an event already scheduled into a partitioned room incorrectly showing all partitions as unavailable.  (Case # 00031677)

Exam Scheduling

Custom Event Fields:  Application error received when using a custom field drop‑down with no values.  (Case # 00029775)

Import / Export

Import/Export:  Batch update of sections produces error and prevents section meeting instances from being properly created.  (Case #'s 00032746, 00032996, 00033074)

Import/Export:  Exporting campus name instead of campus SISKey causes invalid campus lookup for room assignments.  (Case # 00032878)

Room Optimization / Preferences

Room Optimizer:  Publish procedure hangs in Oracle.  (Case # 00032181)

Security

Event Security:  A user with "limit to my events" security is allowed to edit another user's event when accessed from calendar.  (Case # 00032210)

Known Limitations

Calendars

Browser Support:  The Calendar functions are not currently compatible with Safari.  We are investigating options for an update to the Calendar control that will support Safari in a coming release.

Import / Export

After importing events via the Excel import utility, customer data must be re‑exported to ObjAcct before users can effectively access Events and Customer related functionality.

Reporting

Reporting:  Reports that include sub-reports cannot be used in report subscriptions due to issues with how the sub-report parameter is handled.  This currently includes the following reports:

Events by Date and Time with Notes
Events Detail by Date Range
Events Detail by Reservation Number
Events for Selected Resource with Meeting Notes
Rooms by Building
Rooms by Region
Rooms by Room Type
Rooms for Selected Building
