What Type Of Running Shoes Should I Purchase I need to talk today in regards to the type of jogging shoes to purchase or even better the shoes I purchased. When I first starting running I had no idea what kind of shoes I needed. Being an athlete I thought I knew but I didn't. I really was not ever a runner in senior high school. I played more team sports so I just ran in whatever shoe I had. Boy was I wrong. The first time I ran believe it or not I ran in a few basketball sneakers. Now I was much younger and my figure was very forgiving. I thought didn't think too much about it until one day I was wondering exactly why are my feet were sore. So I attended the sports equipment store and asked them. Of course they desired to sell me the more costly pair they'd. Being young I didn't know any better and purchased them. Now initially my feet felt much better but eventually they did start to hurt again. I couldn't figure it out. Why is my feet hurting when I bought this kind of expensive pair of sneakers. I did some research and in those days the internet wasn't how it is today. I checked out some magazines and ran across a write-up that discussed gait. What the heck was gait? Well visit find out I found out that I was what you call a neutral foot runner. This means I don't operate on the outside or in my foot. Ok so so what can I do now? The shoes I had purchased was for an individual who overpronated. So I went back on the sports store and purchased another pair of athletic shoes for a neutral runner. I said there you go now you will be all set. Again I was wrong. Even though I had a neutral pair of athletic shoes I didn't believe that there was enough cushion. I eventually found out that even though I had a neutral foot I needed something with many cushioning with it. Now there is various shoes around for this. If you ask one runner he or she will recommend this shoe or that shoe. I tried a variety of them. In closing what I want to say is that no matter which shoe you select it has to fit right for you. Now I am considered a Clydesdale runner (over 200 lbs.), and still have liked any additional cushioning shoe. There are many to choose from but find the one that you will like. Some runners similar to this brand or that brand but it is what is right for you personally. My brother, the triathlete, has a certain brand he likes and I had completed it but didn't like them. The biggest problem you'll face from the streets is finding what works for you. |
