Learn How to Make a Desert Diorama: Tips for Students Have an assignment to create a desert diorama? What even lives inside the desert? Never fear, employ this outline for more information on what to include inside your diorama and several tips to putting it all together. Before getting into making your diorma, it may seem helpful to explore the desert environment. Read some books in regards to the desert environment to learn more about what it appears to be, as well as the types of plant and animals that live there. In order to be defined as a desert, a land requires extremely little rainfall during the year. Most deserts are incredibly hot, however Anarctica is a desert given it has little or no precipitation. Make a list in the animals and plants that you will expect to find within the desert that you're going to illustrate inside your diorama. These includes cactus, scorpians, snakes and other animals. Gather the materials that you will need for that project: Cover your projects surface with newspaper to guard it and also to make for a simple clean up.
