Bondi Beach:
This is the most famous beach in Sydney. A lot of sydneysiders and tourists visit this beach often. Sometimes it is crowded with these people, especially in the summer.
What makes this beach iconic is the sweeping white sand crescent, and the large amount of big waves. The sandstone headlands makes golfing the perfect sport to exercise. There is a golf club called Bondi Golf Club. You can also enjoy the sun with very delicious cocktails.
Whale watching is also one of the most famous attractions for tourists. You can reach this beach by bus, and train by going to Town Hall Station. At this station you can get insight into Australia’s beach culture, and history.
Picnics, chips and fish are one of the most popular dishes you can get. The restaurants have stunning views, and most of them are award winning restaurants, with a lot of certificates and licenses. International and Australian designers, design a lot of clothes and swim-wear. They have shops located near the Bondi beach where you can shop for these new fashion trends.
Coogee Beach
Tourists and students fight for an apartment at Coogee Beach Street. The view is stunning and the cool breeze from the beach is extraordinary. This is a family friendly suburb beach. There are a lot of historic buildings, and nurtured parklands, where you can walk and enjoy these. There are also a lot of showers, toilets and change rooms where locals, and tourist can freshen up.
Fish and chip shops are on the rise. A lot of boutiques are on the rise too. The Grant Reserve, at the southern end of the beach, has a playground for children, and an enclosed lawn. From the Grant Reserve you can get to McIver’s Baths, and Wylie’s Baths, these are the most beautiful pools in Sydney.
You can walk from the Coogee beach to the Bondi beach along a pathway with amazing views of the beach ( this is a 6km trail). You can also arrive at 2 other pretty beaches from this Coastal Walk. Those are Bronte and Clovelly. You can take a bus to this beach, it stops right in front of the beach.
Manly Beach
This was the beach where the first world surfing contest was held. A lot of events are held at this beach daily. A lot of informative tours are held, that locals and tourist can be a part of.
You can surf, cycle, walk, dive, and snorkel at this beach. At the south of this beach there is another beach called Shelly Beach in Cabbage Tree Bay. It has a lot of colorful fish like cuttlefish, and blue groper.
At the north there is Freshwater Beach. Shelly Beach and Freshwater Beach are National Surfing Reserves. Manly Surf School teaches people how to surf at the Manly Beach. A route tourist take to go the beach is by walking along the Corso, a lively shopping and pedestrian boulevard. You can also find a lot of restaurants and other places to eat here, or buy and take it to the beach.
