Release 7.3.2
10/13/09
Key Bug Fixes:
Various bug fixes are included in this release. The following is a list of key fixes by application area.
Please contact customer support for the status of any specific Astra Schedule case number.
Area: Event Request Templates
The display text custom field property on event request templates is now appearing correctly on event request forms.
Area: Events
Correct the "more..." link on the event list page so that additional search criteria may be configured.
Resolved an upgrade issue that was causing scheduled notification tasks to be deleted, preventing notifications from being
sent.
Area: Portal
Holiday titles now display in full on the portal.
Area: Security
The user role administrative permission to double book activities is now working correctly.
Corrected a sorting issue causing compatibility problems with OpenLDAP.
Area: SIS/ATE
SIS Import/Export options are more clearly organized to reduce on‑demand vs. realtime and import vs. export confusion.
Changes include:
*On‑demand jobs are now import only.
*Import and Export jobs have "realtime" options.
*Realtime jobs are no longer dependent on on‑demand import or exports.
*Realtime import jobs require realtime "differencer" configurations files that dictate how the system looks for changes to
records. The "differencer" configuration file contains a reference to the update configuration file that should be used to
perform record updates.
Increased the timeout setting for establishing a connection for the realtime SIS update process to reduce log file connection
errors.
Known Limitations:
Area: Calendar
The Grid calendar view will not show both activities if they are double booked. The system will currently select the first one
encountered to be displayed, and the other will be obscured.
Area: Optimizer
Characteristics of effective dated rooms are not taken into account during room optimization. Only the original room
record information is considered during bulk scheduling.
Area: People
People records cannot currently be searched via email address. This is expected to be resolved in the 7.4.0 release.
Area: Sections
The building/room sort on the academic section list page is not currently functional and causes an error.
Area: SIS/ATE
After importing events via the Excel import utility, customer data must be re‑exported to ObjAcct before users can
effectively access Events and Customer related functionality.
