“Our Special Needs Pod (SNP) provides a one of a kind environment for inmates who struggle INTAKE
with mental health concerns or are otherwise vulnerable. The teamwork between mental ASSESSMENT
health staff and deputies provides structure and safety for the inmates. SNP has a sense of BODY
community which is unlike any other housing unit. The pod is rewarding on a multitude of SCANNER
levels. For me the reward is seeing the everyday successes of individual inmates.”
